Derek Geddes – Chairman
Derek lived in Hong Kong for twenty-five years and was chairman of Langdon, Every and Seah in Hong Kong, the world's largest QS and cost engineering company with offices worldwide. He brings his considerable experience to bear for Equus in South East Asia and business growth.
Piers Hooper – Founder and Senior Partner
Piers founded Equus in 2003 to redefine how communications and brand growth within the financial sectors could be approached, with a particular focus on, at the time, the growing private equity and corporate funding market. He is an expert in the ever changing financial scene with an uncanny knack of seeing what's around the corner!
James Culverhouse – Junior Partner
James joined Equus in 2010 and is focused on the fulfilment of client projects across all senior media distribution channels, regularly delivering exemplary outcomes. He also plays a key role in Equus' new business development programme on a truly international basis.
Corinne Daniels – Senior Consultant
Corinne has been at Equus since launch, focusing on content development and execution. Previously an Associate Partner at Brunswick she has worked on multiple corporate and financial accounts, including IPOs and M&A projects.
Charlotte Morrison – Senior Consultant
Charlotte is a former Head of Communications at the BVCA and was previously at Financial Dynamics. Charlotte started her career as an equity analyst and fund manager at Kleinworts and is now a valued member of the team, focusing on client liaison and strategy.
Amanda Halliwell – Senior Consultant
Amanda joined Equus as a senior consultant in 2005, with emphasis on client liaison and content management. Amanda worked at the BBC as a journalist and assistant producer with an interest in politics and current affairs before making the move to specialist equity sales at investment banks Panmure Gordon and Commerzbank.
John Mumby – Senior Consultant
John joined Equus in 2013 to help the firm expand its content origination, analytics and social media strategy offerings. He has previously worked with PwC in London and is a First Class graduate of Loughborough University.
Sue Carr – Creative Director
Sue started her career in advertising before moving to the BBC to work on current affairs and news programmes such as London Tonight, Wogan, GMTV and Hardtalk. She gives guidance on interview technique prior to TV interviews and produces/directs online content for clients.
